UAV Systems

HEG utilizes a fleet of DJI UAVs for various purposes including topographic surveys, creating orthographic maps, simulating watershed runoffs, and generating 3D models. Our highest tier UAV is equipped with a built-in infrared thermal camera for special use surveys, enabling us to detect heat loss on roofs or in buildings. The UAVs allow us to survey in areas that are hazardous or inaccessible, such as the undersides of bridges over waterways or building facades requiring spall repair. This advanced technology allows us to assess the structural condition of existing structures with ease and precision.

StructureScan™ Mini HR

The StructureScan™ Mini HR is a high-resolution GPR system, for concrete inspection. This handheld system locates rebar, conduits and post-tension cables in depths of up to 16 inches (40 cm). This GPR system can be used to locate metallic and non-metallic targets in concrete walls, floors and ceilings; for structural inspection of bridges, monuments, walls, towers, tunnels, balconies, garages, decks; for condition assessments of concrete and to measure slab thickness.

CR10-S5 3D Printer

We own one of the largest consumer fused-filament-fabrication 3D printers on the market that holds a 20″x20″x20″ build volume. If you are interested in mechanical prototypes or rapid development of parts, contact us to get a quote.

Trimble SX10

The Trimble SX10 is capable of collecting high-density 3D scan data, enhanced Trimble VISION imaging, and high-accuracy total station data. This allows HEG to create decimeter accurate point clouds for drafting and engineering as well as generate contours for topographic maps.

The Spectra Geospatial SP85 is a next generation GNSS receiver that combines decades of GNSS RTK technology with revolutionary new GNSS processing. HEG is able to acquire high precision submeter survey data accuracy.
